What Is The Cause Of Spotting After Taking A 7 Day Break From The Yasmin Pill?

I am on the pill (Yasmin) and I am currently on my 7 day break. I did not take a break last month and just a continued the second pack... This mouth I stop taking the pill on Saturday and today I have just started spotting. Not only is my period really light and took longer to come, last night a big piece of skin came out of me? It was thick and had the faintest spec of blood on it. I m really confused as to what this may be. Could this be due to not taking a 7 day break last month?

Hello,

Spotting you are experiencing is likely premenstrual. The delay in starting regular flow could be due to taking pills back to back last month. There is nothing to be worried about.

Hope this answers your query
