Hello Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. 1 As I have noted in my so many patients that there develops pain in the path of nerves extends from front of chest to back up to spine and usually due to NEURITIS or Neuropathy . In such type of cases usually I prescribe high dosage of gabapentine and methylcobalamine for at least 1-2 months . 2 The 2nd possibility in your case may be due to thickened pleura . Such type of symptoms may occurs due to thickened . Diagnosis can be confirmed by X ray chest . 3 Operative scar may be the next reason. In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion as physical examination is very important. Good luck. Dr. HET
