Patient: Yogliang Tian Procedure: MRI LUMBAR Reason for study: Pain in limb MRI lumbar spine performed without contract including T1, T2 sagittal images, T2 axial images. Findings: Surrounding study soft tissues are unremarkable. Numerous Tarlo cysts noted in the sacral region, these up to almost 2 cm in size. Other surrounding soft tissues are unremarkable. The distal spinal cord and conus medullaris are unremarkable. Individual levels of spondylitic disease are described below: T11-T12: there is a broad-based annular bulge, Mild central spinal narrowing. T12-L1: Broad-based annular bulge, Mild central spinal narrowing. L1-L2: Unremarkable level. L2-L3: Focal annular bulge to the left. Left lateral recess narrowing. Mild effacement of the anterior thecal sac on the left. L3-L4: Annular bulge. Mild bilateral lateral recess narrowing. Mild right greater than left neural foraminal narrowing. L4-L5: There is a broad-based protruded HNP. Mild to moderate central spinal narrowing. Significant right greater than left lateral recess narrowing. Moderate right and mild left neural foraminal narrowing. L5-S1: Annular bulge. Mild central spinal narrowing. Left greater than right lateral recess narrowing. Impression: Spondylitic disease as discussed.
