My mother is 79 years, she has several health problems, diabetic since age 50, high blood pressure, kidney failure for the last five years and is on dialysis, has a bad heart, and now has gangrene on her feet due to poor circulation all through her body including her brain. She has refused a treatment to her leg, a small procedure, because they can not do surgery due to her bad heart. She is now on hospice since she refused treatment. What is her life expectancy without treatment. I am hoping to change her mind, however the Dr. said if she thinks about it to long it may be to late. It is now one week since she left the hospital and I can already see some mental changes, I don't know if it is due to the gangrene or the poor circulation ( hardening of the arteries).
