I have a sister who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in feb. 2008. She is currently on a morphine pump (hydromorphone) with 3 units per hour. she is still able to walk and go a few places. it has spread over a large portion of her body and in her bones. her dr. mentioned hospice this week but she doesn't want that. she is still clinging on to the hope that she will live and wants to do anything possible to extend her life. they have stopped chemo and radiation. i have a sister out west and she is planning on coming in. how much time does my sister have?
