75 ur old male, diabetic with gangrene in both legs. Refused treatment, entered hospice 36hrs ago. Fully aware that any response given would be generalized and his circumstances and personal health regimen ultimately dictate his course, any information you could provide as to life expectancy would be greatly appreciated. Uncontrolled diabetes in elderly is a very dangerous issue. If sugar is controlled there is not much problem. Please do not neglect the legs it may lead to septicemia
