Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Is The Numbness And Tingling In My Hands And Feet?
One month ago I started experiencing tingling and numbness and my hands and feet. Shortly thereafter my legs began to swell (a pair of socks whether on my legs or ankles causes massive indentions). Now my legs feel heavy and there seems to be bulges in various places. Any idea what may be going on?
Tingling and numbness in the feet might occur as one of the microvascular complication of type 2 diabetes. If you are not having diabetes then you need to check for that.
Secondly it happens when there is loss of vitamin b12 and electrolytes such as sodium, potassium and chlorides from the body.
Supplementation of vitamin b12 with vitamin d3 will improve the conditions.
Thanks
