What Is The Pain In My Abdomen When I Sneeze?

When I sneeze or cough, I feel an intense and powerful pain on the left side of my abdomen, at the lower rib cage. It started when I turned right to sneeze about a week ago, and grew worse with successive sneezes or coughs over the next couple of days. The area does not hurt under normal circumstances.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that you must be having hiatus hernia, or lower chest infection.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have a M.R.I. for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, omeprazole, domperidone, and acyclophenac sodium.
Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods, and also avoid untimely foods.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.

Dear Madam,

It can be a sign of pleurisy that it hurts everytime you sneeze , you will need to see a chest physician for that.
