What Is The Permanent Solution For Painful Hip Caused By An Injury?

I slipped on the ice and landed on my left hip almost a year ago. The pain has never gone away. I have no insurance and not enough money to see a doctor so I never went. Then I was sledding this past weekend and now the pain is so bad I can hardly stand. I have tried ice, hot baths, laying flat for days, nothing is working. What do you recommend for an at home remedy?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi there.
Painful injuries around the hip joints should not be ignored like this. It might be due to a fracture or arthritis. .
Taking regular painkillers is not the solution.
Firstly you need to get an Xray done of the injured area.
Kindly post it on the site for me to give a permanent solution.
Good luck.
