Welcome to Healthcare Magic There is intervertebral disc prolapse or IVDP. There is swelling of your spinal disc which is comppressing the nerves which causes back pain and possible pain, altered sensation and weakness of legs. If there is no pain in the legs or weakness, you can use Lumbar corset and also go for Physiotherapy to help in pain, along with taking pain killer and muscle relaxant. If there is numbness, weakness of leg, surgery is warranted. Avoid lifting heavy weights. Avoid bad posture at work and prolonged bed rest. Don't do any sudden movement with the back. Do walking everyday and continue with normal activities without much strain. Kindly discuss the treatment options available to you from your Orthopaedician and also back extension and abdominal muscle strengthening exercises, how to do them for relief.
