What Is The Reason For Discharge And Abdominal Pain?

hi. I m 2 years post Total abdominal hysterectomy bilateral salpingectomy... I ve noticed brown discharge and today i m having abdominal pain and recently had the same sharp RLQ pain i had pre hysterectomy. should i be worried, and should i see my doctor stat?

Hi,

The abdominal pain could be due to colon infection or functional bowel problem. You can drink more water and can be prescribed antibiotic course for five days. However, brown vaginal discharge could not be due to bowel problem. So if in next two days brown vaginal discharge don't stop than detailed pelvic evaluation should be done for further work up.
