What Is The Reason For Frequent Urination During The Nights With Lower Back Pain When Tried To Control?
during the middle of the night, every night, i have to wake up an urinate. If I try to hold it, I'm awaken with lower back pain. There are some night I do get up and I still have the lower back pains when I wake up. Once I urinate and release myself most of the pain go away right away. My father died of kidney failure, should I be alarmed?

As you have increase in your urine output in night you need to do urine sugar and complete diabetes checked.
Second think you should do kidney function test for kidney status and x ray kidney with urinary bladder for stone in urinary system.
Yes of course it may be heridetary condition.
If you have dribbing in urine then uroflowmetry test should also be done.

Thanks for the query to HCM Forum.
Frequent urination in the night is a common feature in male particularly in the night and most probable cause is , usually enlarged prostate ( in male around 50 years) , so get in ultrasound of prostate and deal accordingly.
2nd reason of such pain may be renal stone as pain also present with frequent urination so get on ultrasound of both kidneys .
As you mentioned that sometimes urination relieve pain while other time pain present so this may be a backache , so get in C T Scan of lumbo-sacral region to rule out any disease in this area.
In my opinion consult an orthopedic surgeon / physician and get their opinion.
