Hello, after being prescibed Levaquin and taking it two days I encountered severe insomnia. I sleep at most two hours a night over a three day period. After three days I contacted my doctor to find him shocked by this problem. He had never heard of someone encountering this problem. He requested I stop the medicacine, within 24hrs I had no issues falling and maintaining sleep. A few months later he prescribed Cefdinir and I had the same issues. I am now worried about my body being able to handle antibiotics. What could cause this and what type of doctor should I see that might have an expanded knowledge of it.
