What Is The Reason For Pink Eye, Sore Throat And Chills With Mucus While Coughing?

I have been sick since Thursday. First with pink eye than fever. By saturday it was gone and it was just a cough and sore throat. Today it is chills but my body is burning up and I can't seem to stay warm. I'm freezing in the hands and feet. My head feels like it is going to explode. Im very weak and my body hurts to even get out of bed. My throat is very raspy and hurts. I do have mucus when I cough.

Hello.
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
As all these symptoms mentioned in your query indicates throat infection added with allergy and we call it asthmatic allergic bronchitis .
As you have fever and severe headache , this is an indication of infection .
Redness in the throat is also an indication of infection.
Chills with cough is due to throat infection . Diagnosis can be confirmed by swab examination from throat.
In my opinion consult an E N T specialist and get his opinion as physical examination is important in such type of cases.
