Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Just had an endoscopy done this morning, went well. The doctor informed my parents, though, that when he saw my lower part, which is where my stomach is, he saw some redness there. What do you think that is? Could it be anything serious? Also, right after I left, I didn't feel pain in my throat, until a few hours later, (which is now) I'm starting to feel pain when I swallow. Anything wrong with that? Thanks.
Dear usually mucosa in the stomach is slight pinkish red , if your suffering from erosion or Peptic ulcers may appear as red leisons.
post endoscopy after local lignocaine effect is gone then you develop stomach dyscomfort.
It is normal phenomenon, but few people may develop pharyngitis after endoscopy may be due to trauma or acid reflux.

Take care
