What Is The Remedy For Swollen Jaw?

i had surgery on friday and they placed a breathing tube in me. i have had such complications from it such as my whole left side of my jaw was swollen; difficulty swallowing, can only eat jello and getting blisters on left side of mouth and low grade fever. i was told to wait a couple of wks it should go away. should i ask my primary for antibiotics?

Hi.
Certainly yes, antibiotics are must as these lesions can go into secondary infection anytime. Continue to take water frequently, this has the best cleansing properties, Gargle are chemical so avid as the healing would be a problem. Multi-vitamins are a must. They help in healing.
