It sounds like you have a stretching of the
nerve which happens when you sit or lie down. This is a definitive possibility if the nerves are getting trapped amongst the bones when they are coming out of the
vertebral column.
I would suggest two tests in a patient I would have had a chance to examine. I
would suggest an
MRI of the LS spine, and the NCV of both the lower tests.
These would help confirm the diagnosis.
The treatment would come thereafter. And of there were no other medical history, I would probably suggest
pregabalin and
Vitamin B12. But of course this would be recommended after the investigations confirm the diagnosis.
