What Is The Remedy For Pain Due To Glandural Fever?

Hi there. My 2yrs and 6month girl got glandural fever. They gave saturday Ponstan Mixed with Panado for fever and pain and Klacid antibiotics. She has itch places Or knees and ankels and is moaning a lot.mouth also swollen.sores inside. Battle to eat en battle to take meds. What else can I do for her to relief pain

Hi,Poor child ,glandular fever is painful.and your daoughter also has sores inside her mouth.
The best way to manage the pain is to keep her comfortable,frquent sips of clear fluids .ypu can use a stronger pain killer like ibuprofen..Watch her carefully and if she is not able to take fluids and symptoms dont improve in a couple of days ,may be better to take her to hospital and have her treated with intravenous fluids,antibiotics and if necessary medicine containing steroids.take care
