What Is The Remedy For The Deformation Of Hand And A Shadow Visible In The X-ray?
8 years ago I broke my wrist and was in plaster for 6 months.ive just had an X ray done as my for arm doesn t look straight and I m in pain..X ray showed no break but shows the bone is a bit deformed and there is a shadow in the middle of it..what could this be?? I have an ultrasound tomorrow.
Deformed bone occurs due to wrong treatment at the time of fracture. If the fractured bones were not aligned properly at the time of application of plaster, then the bone becomes deformed.
Shadow may be caused by an Xray artifact or a bony cyst. Ultrasound or MRI will help. Hope your query has been answered
Best regards
