What Is The Remedy For The Internal Pain Caused Due To Pain Killer Injection?

Hello Doctor,
I'm Sneha, 27yrs, height 5 2inchs, suffering from knee chondromalacia patella currently. M currently consuming Kondro p & etova 400, started taking these before 2 days. My knee pain & sweeling hasn reduced yet. I dont know how i got the knee pain, before visiting an ortho doctor i visited a physician, who gave a pain killer injection before a week & looks like my body has not absorbed the injection & have internal pain in the place where the injection was given, I've taken multiple pain killers to get rid of the pain but to no success. Please advice how to get rid of the internal pain caused by injection?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The most probable reason for not getting the pain solved even after a week can be an infection/ necrosis of the muscles/ hitting of the internal small nerve with a needle.

If there is local swelling, redness and increase in temperature, this can be a developed abscess.
You can get this confirmed by ultrasonography. If there is a collection, please go for incision and drainage for an early recovery.

If no collection there is no collection , other possibilities have to ruled out.
