Hello, If your daughter has chronic vomiting and has no infection, other conditions should be considered. Her small BMI percentile is concerning, if she has good nutritional intake. Other diagnoses involving the neurologic system should be considered. Increases in intra-cranial pressure can cause vomiting, unstable balance, delay in development and headaches. If she has had other infections such as pneumonias, diarrhea, sinus/ear infections, skin infections, your PCP may consider screening her immune system. If there is any risk for HIV, this also should be considered.
