What Is The Solution To Treat Tenderness And Itchy Sensation On The Area Of Sprain In Ankle?

I sprained my ankle a week ago and now have a slight itching / stinging sensation . Not exactly pain . No bruising , very slight to no swelling . One small area about 2 inches from my ankle and next to the major tendon however is very tender and kinda squishy . What could this be ?

Inflammatory process after the injury of joints some time causes the itching superficially that must be due to the release of certain chemicals during the inflammation which causes allergic reaction it is complex phenomenon, and give good response to antihistamine, have nice day.
