my friend just checked her blood sugar and it is at 439. She is on medicines that are making her blood sugar elevate. She is diabetic and is having lots of problems with her eyesight too. she is being treated with prednisone and some sort of eye drops she said. Her blood sugar was in the 300 s about 2 hours ago

Regarding eye problems, retinopathy is common complication in uncontrolled diabetes. You discuss with your treating doctor regarding increase of dose of drug or change of drug or use of insulin.
