What Is The Treatment For Clostridium Difficile?
My son has c diff after rx from erythromycin for Pneumonia. He is a nurse at a cancer hospital. He had severe bloody diarrhea and stomach pain. Is now on Flagy x 2 days. He called last night with blood in his urine and today the urine is very dark. Can this be from dehydration or some other cause. Should he seek additional medical care.

if you son is having clostridium infection then metronidazole is the right medication but having bloody diarrhea with pain abdomen need to rule out inflammatory bowel disease... please seek urgent near my medical care...thankyou
