What Is The Treatment For TB After A Successful Operation In The Lung?

my uncle is suffering from Tuberculosis at a very high stage,his left side lungs system is completely dead,so he is operated yesterday!!!!since the operate is succesful still he is suffering from too much pains,can you suggest us which treatment they need to get at this stage and how much infectious is going close to them?

Hello
As you mentioned that your uncle operated for lung tuberculosis . There is pain , still you want treatment for TB .
The treatment for tuberculosis depend on many things as result of sputum specimen , report of blood like CBC , ESR ( if more than 100 mm of first hour ) , Montoux's test.
So I want to tell you that first of all consult a "chest & tuberculosis " SPECIALIST and take full treatment as advised by your doctor and take treatment till your doctor recommend . Don't stop in between as it may produces MDRTB .
