What Is The Treatment For Bacterial Infection WBC Is 17.9, Neutrophils 68.4% And Lymphocyte 22.2%?

my children is suffering from becterial infection results of his CBC shows WBC is 17.9 x 10E9/L , Neutrophils are 68.4% and Lymphocyte is 22.2% please advice what actions should i take as i took a doctors opinion and he had given my child a dose of INOSEF (Antibiotic) injection through IV.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The blood results suggest presence of bacterial infection.
The iv antibiotic which has been given will be effective against the infectious focus.
Bacterial infections like furunculosis, tonsillitis, appendicitis, pneumonia, salpingitis, cholangitis, urinary tract infection, bronchiectasis will all cause elevated neutrophil counts.
Besides infections, stress, steroids can also cause elevated neutrophil counts.
