I'm 31 and have Peripheral Neuropathy. My veins on the top of my feet are bulging and tight. This has caused severe burning sensation and pain. I've asked my Rheumatologist and primary care doctor. Neither of them seem to know what this is caused by or what can alleviate the symptoms.
Regareding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms are related to the peripheral neuropathy.
For this reason, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist and discussing the possibility of starting therapy with gabapentine or pregabaline for the pain. From the other hand, considering the fact that you have bulging veins on your feet, it is necessary to perform a Doppler ultrasound of the leg vessels to exclude possible chronic venous insufficiency, which can trigger the situation. Hope to have been helpful! Best wishes, Dr. Aida
