My 69 year-old mother was treated for cervical cancer about 7 years ago. She has not had any vaginal bleeding since going through the menopause at the age of 54. Last week, however, she lost a small clot and some very dark blood from her vagina. She is now convinced that the cancer has returned. Is this likely to be the case?
Hello dear. I have gone though the details. So in a post menopausal female with a prior history of cervical cancer, a repeat bleeding is to be taken as relapse of cancer until proven otherwise. Please get her investigated. Thanks regards
