What Is The Treatment For Eye Infection?
I am a microbiology technician. I have an infection in his right eye, I made the microbiological examination and was isolated Staphylococcus aureus (several times). After receiving the first dose ceftriaxon - 2gr/day, symptoms leave within 10 hours, but after 2 months again repeated infection. Based on your experiences, how to deal with this case?. And why every two months is relapse?
Sensitivity is:
Ceftriaxone - S,
Imipinem - S,
Fosfomycin - S
Cefuroxim - S
Erythromycin - R
Cloxacilin - I,
Ciprofloxacin - I
Cefalexin - I
Ampicilin - R,
Gentamycin - R.
Amoxiclav - I.
Sensitivity is the same, after each relapse!

It seems from the history that you are having repeated episodes of eye infection most probably in the form of acute bacterial conjunctivitis as it is responding to ceftriaxone.
This indicates chronic conjunctivitis with exacerberation.
The treatment requires use of topical antibiotics for 3-4 weeks to get rid of the chronic infection. At the same time evaluation needs to be made to look for source of infection like chronic dacryocystitis which may be acting as a source of infection.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
