What Is The Treatment For Fever And Stomach Pain In A Child?

My 4 year old daughter has had a constant fever of 101 for 3 days with a stuffy nose and a complaint of stomach pain. However, she is eating, drinking, and acting normal. Also, she has not had a bowel movement in 3 days as well. Any idea of what this could be a sign of?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.
Fever of few days without any localizing signs could as well a viral illness. Usually rather than fever, what is more important is the activity of the child, in between 2 fever episodes on the same day. If the kid is active and playing around when there is no fever, it is probably viral illness and it doesn't require antibiotics at all. Once viral fever comes it will there for 4-7 days. So do not worry about duration if the kid is active.

There is no bowel movement as the intake is not very good and you need not worry about it as such.
