My mother is 96 years old and suffers from dementia and is confined to a wheelchair due to a stroke about two years ago. Lately she has been having severe pain in her hips which I beleive is due to arthritis. She is now on a very low dose of morphine. I was told that methadone is more for bone pain and wondered if this would be right for her. She also has a kidney condition and heart murmur and other heart complications.
