What Is The Treatment For Lump In Middle Top Of Torso?

I noticed a lump in the middle top of of my torso yesterday. It was raised and about the size of a nickel and it hurts to touch. Today it hurts even more and feels like an internal mass about the size of a .50 cent pc. There is nothing coming out of it and no hole indicating a possible bug bite. I am 53 and female.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
You are having a painful swelling around 1-2 cm in diameter on the upper torso with skin intact on its surface.
Intact skin on the surface of the swelling suggests that the selling is not arising from the skin.
It is probably arising from underlying structures or from skin adnexal structures.
An excision biopsy is most appropriate in such a lesion.
However, you need to consult your doctor for clinical examination.
Before undergoing excision biopsy, a fine needle aspiration (FNA) may be required.
However, this will be decided by your examining doctor.
FNA will determine that origin and nature of the lesion.
Excision biopsy can follow FNA and histopathological examination thereafter.

Thanks and take care
