Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Jenis Bhalavat's Response
Hi,
You have a fracture in your toe. It needs to be stabilized with a plaster, which will be applied on whole your ankle. Till then you are not supposed to take weight on the toe or ankle. You need to take rest, apply ice, use a compression bandage and elevate the limb to reduce pain and swelling. If you had been my patient I would have suggested Ibuprofen twice daily for 3 days and then once till pain subsides.
Hope this helps you. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Jenis Bhalavat
