What Is The Treatment For Throat Pain And Sore Throat?
was hit in the adams apple (with elbow) during basketball game last night. feels like I have a very bad sore throat. I can breathe and talk (though talking hurts). I was told to take tylenol, but that there is nothing else I can do right now. Should I eat, drink, talk? Anything else I can be doing to heal?

You may be suffering from acute pharyngitis. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet amoxicillin with clavulinic acid 625 mg twice a day for five days. Drink hot water only. Avoid ice cream and freez water. If no improvement please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
