What Is The Treatment For Unbearable Pain In Knee Cap?
I am age 70+ and having knee cap pain ( joints due to wear and tear ) and lately the pain is unbearable and operation is the last hope. If,by taking the pain medicine ( Pontalon ) will it be alright or any pain medicine that you may deem more suitable. Thank you. Phun
HI Thank for asking to HCM You can try "Diclofenac" 50 mg sustain release tab, just once in day along with short course of steroid if you are not diabetic Prednisolone 20 mg three times in day for three days reduce the mg after every third day by 5 mg this will give good results, have nice day.
