What Is The Treatment For Vaginal Discharge With Vaginal Tampon? Had Dizziness, Low B.p. Vaginal Swab Taken
I went to dr today due to vaginal discharge with an odour. There was a tampon in my vagina for approx. a month at least nov.29. I have had 3 bouts of dizziness and my bp was low 96/62 and then it passes, no temp but sensitive skin as if getting a temp.. Did not tell my doctor this info. Doctor did a vaginal swab. Don't want to have toxic shock syndrome and leave it too long what should I do.
Hello Thanks for writing to us with your health concern. The tampon is already removed. It appears as if you are having some kind of infection already. A vaginal swab has been taken, please await the results. Meanwhile, do get back to the doctor with the clinical history that you did not mention. You might need a specialist to have internal gynaecological check up. Also a pelvic ultrasound scan is required. do not neglect this as TSS is a distinct possibility. It is better to take a course of antibiotics to clear the infection. A sample from the pouch of Douglas maybe taken if fluid is observed therein during ultrasound all the best.
