hi. doctor, my husband is brittle diabetic and be on insulin for 30years.. he s now high pressure medication... lately his pressure been high in the morning. He s on linsinopril 10mg 1 daily... what can you tell me about this drug in reference to him???? thank you oh , my name is sharon

Hi. Lisinopril is an ace inhibitor. This will lower the blood pressure. And this drug also prevent diabetic nephropathy. This is best drug to lower bp in diabetes patients. Exercise and healthy diet is very important in diabetes patients. Take care.
