Hello,

First of all,the diagnosis of migraine means that you do not have a physical or psychological causes of headache.

So,you should do some investigations such as:measuring blood pressure and an CT Brain.

Second, the hormonal therapy for contraception or replacement therapy in women, besides irregular menses can cause similar symptoms,so you should ask a gynecologist for help.

Third, the problems of vision can cause headache,if you had this problem before the onset of the headache, you should ask an ophthalmologist for help.

If you do not have systemic, psychological causes, you can take a prophylaxis treatment such as :Propranolol 20 mg every 6 hours per day before meals or Amitriptyline 50 mg:half a tablet before sleeping for three days then one tablet before sleeping.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Dr/Mustafa
