What Precautions Should Be Taken To Maintain The Uric Acid Levels?

I am having Uric Acid in margin as per recent test it is 7.1 no pain in joints only getting sweling in fooy after whole day seeting in office chair.What Medicine should I take or what precation should I take.I have no other problems like Pressure or Sugar etc. Pl advice

hai,

uric acid level remain marginally normal.depending upon the intake of protein diet (especially Purine(aminoacid) containing food products) will result in increased uric acid.
In other way kidney related excertion problem also result in increased uric acid level.

as your suspicion on gout (joint inflammation related to high uric acid) may be ignored because it will affect mostly big toe and pain will present with fever on/off.

swelling in foot is because of your prolonged sitting posture.
if it is unilateral swelling -should be ruled out through investigation.

I don't suggest any medication.

Avoid taking purine containing food like lamb meat and sea fish.

take plenty of water4-5 liters.
