What Should Be Done For The Impression Od PTB At The Upper Left Lobe?
i am 44 years old 74kg five feet six inches tall. i have a ptb history before in my teen age. 2010 i was examined by chest pa and the impression is minimal ptb.i was referred to the tb dot to examime my sputom for one week.and the result is negative.recently i got another x ray and the impression is ptb at the upper left lobe. what can i do?
Thanks for your query. PTB has its sequelae in the form of healed fibrotic lesions which may persist for the life. TB may relapse also. In your case since you had the infection in early teen. It's sequelae may be there. At the same time active disease has been ruled out by negative sputum tests. So if you are symptom free, need not worry.
Best wishes
