What Should Be Done To Lose Weight For Type2 Diabetic?
I want to lose weight and can't I have been on a 1250 calories diet for 7 moths lost only 15 lbs. I took phentermine years ago and would like to get a prescription again. I exercise and don't drink pop or booze, I walk about 12 miles a week. I am 58 yrs old, type 2 diabetic, high blood pressure, thru with menopause, and weigh 247lbs. I am tired a lot and all of my blood work comes back normal.
There are so many ways to reduce weight in type 2 diabetes patients but basically there are simple ways 1. Strict dietary intake of fibres, reduction in calories 2. Physical activity atleast 300 min a week
Make sure your medications are weight neutral, like selecting medicines like metformin, voglibose and gliptins instead of glimeperide and insulins.
Adding orlistat 60 mg two times a day at meal times reduces the weight effectively.
Thanks
