What Should I Do For Excruciating Pain On Right Side Of Lower Back And Hip?

I am having excruciating pain on my right side of my lower back and hip. My doctor has been telling me it is my sacroiliac joint by just the physical exam. I am scheduled for a lumbar MRI tomorrow. Will the lumbar show the sacrum area where these joints are??

Yes, MRi is a very good examination. you can request your radiologist to specially look in to sacroilliac joint to find out if there is something which is causing this pain.
