What To Do For Large Dark Bruise From Hip To Thigh?

I was walking at the mall and had stopped when I felt a pop in my left hip. I felt pain in the hip area for a time. I did not walk for several days. My hip was sore for a couple of days. I resumed walking after about 4-5 days. About that time I noticed a large dark bruise running from my lower hip down my upper thigh and yellow discoloring that spread around my thigh. What happened?

Hi,

I cannot say in your particular case. Being shot by a BB or air gun can cause pain, pop, and a bruise and have the least long term issues. A tendon or connective tissue ripping can be a long term injury. Other internal injuries are even more serious.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
