What To Do For Shooting Pain On Right Large Toe That Happens For Every 30-60 Seconds?
I began having a shooting pain in my right large toe today. It happens approximately every 30-60 secs. It's located always on the left side of the edge of the toe nail on the right toe. I thought it might be an ingrown toenail, but I am able to put my fingernail under that side of the toenail, so I don't think that is the cause. Also it is not a constant pain, but like I stated a stabbing pain every 30-60 secs. This will also making sleep difficult if it continues. Jeanette
Hi welcome to health care magic forum. It appears that you might be having the nerve pain, due to the neuritis, or the ischemia of the branch of the tibial artery supplying the medial side of the right big toe due to the atherosclerosis. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon. You may need to have color doppler, and MRI of the hip joint. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to hasten the recovery. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
