What To Do For Sudden Cheek Breakouts And Acne?

Hello Doctor. I m 24 years old and I m about to get married in December. I have sudden breakout over my cheeks. I have had acne when I was teenager but the prob got solved. Am worried. Would Doxitabs help in clearing my acne so that I get back my clear skin in 1 and a half months time?

Hi,
Treatment of acne depends upon grade and severity. If your lesions are inflammed or pus filled then doxytab would help.
As general measure for acne
Use a mild cleanser like detaphil os
Apply clindamycin adapalene gel in night, pea size amount over full face. Do not rub the area and do not apply vigorously.
Apply salicylic acid gel in morning9sebonac gel)
If having comedones, get them extracted.
If lesions are pustular take doxycycline or minocycline( but only after doctor's visit)
You may take salicylic acid peels for better response
