sir, I took ofloxcacin & orindazole combination i.e. commonly known o2 &
Albandazole as i have problem of anal itching, semi solid stool & worms in intestine little bit in stomach.but later on i got allergic reaction after taking these tabs ,hives appears on my skin .I donot know whether O2 creates reaction or albandazole then i took citrazine for fews days & now there is no hives, but again i hve a problem of my anal itching, liquid stool ,worms etc. should i took O2 again or albandazole ?actually i m unable to figure out which whether albadazole or O2 caused reaction & not sutaible 4 me
Well come to HCM Thank for asking I really appreciate your concern, condition of hives could be due to worm infestation it self and it may not be due to Albendazole, it is very less likely that Albendazole causes the allergic reaction but worm infestation it self causes the allergic reaction, in either of this case antihistamine can be used, now for the anal itching it could be due to Pin worm infestation and for that Mebendazole can be used in three consecutive dosages, but looking to the allergic condition of the drug better to see the doctor, just to confirm the worm infestation, hope this information helps.
