What To Do For The Painless Cracking Sound From Head?

I have a loud cracking sound in back of my head several times a day, not with any pain. I have had a dull headache for about a week solid with a nauseous feeling. I had a severe headache, which I should have gone to the ER for, but I was in too much pain to get out of bed. I don t usually get headaches, as a rule. I don t feel right everyday now for the last 10 days

Hello,

Since you had an unusual headache and nausea, you should get evaluated further.

A subarachnoidal hemorrhage, for example, may cause symptoms similar to yours.

So, medical examination and imaging of the brain (CT scan, MRI) are necessary in your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
