Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Femur length less than the 5th percentile is a serious issue.
It indicates limb disproportion.
Can you please upload the entire
ultrasound report that was done,so that I can give you a better opinion ?
Please upload the report at -

Sometimes, a shortened femur length maybe indicative of
dwarfism.
There are various types of limb body disproportions, some of which are lethal.
If her
amniocentesis was normal, then generally there is nothing to worry about.
Some kinds of limb shortening is associated with chromosomal defects, so a normal amniocentesis rules out that part to a great extent.
There are no known measures to increase the femur length during the remaining 12 weeks.
In general, good nutrition and good hydration will definitely help.
Also, there are no ways to increase the femur length after birth.
Please mail the detailed scan and consult a Genetic Counsellor to know your odds of having a normal baby.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
