What To Do If Having Pus Filled Acne On Face With Severe Itching In The Evening?
Iam 33years old and having acne like boils with yellow pus for almost a year now.Had taken minoz for a month it did not work.Have used fluticasone cream taken certizine with the advise of a dermatology.It is still same.My acne is small red and spread across my chin,forehead,cheeks with severe itching specially in the evening.Please help
Hi, With your history it seems like you are having Grade 3-4 acne which are in the severe category.Also rocacea to be kept in mind Antibiotics take usually 20 to 40 days to show results and you need topical treatments as well containing adapalene and benzoyl peroxide. For lillte faster releif you can go for salicylic acid peels and IPL treatment. In your case Isotretinoin would be a good option but low dose to avoid excessive dryness For your itching you can take antihistamines and apply non comedogenic moisturizer. Topical steroid are only for erythematous rocasea i.e red component of rosacea
