What To Do If Stitch After A Surgery Opens Up?
NMy son 26 yes old had hand surgery what they thought was ganglion cyst but was no the removed 5 layers of infection and stitched him up 1 hour surgery. One week later after seeing Dr yesterday today a stitch broke and old blood came out. What should he do? Just gauze off blood and put bandaid on it..concerned mom Sheri. NEVER MIND THOUGHT WAS FREE SITE.

Nothing to worry, now go for regular dressing with gauze and with antibiotic cream after proper cleaning of wound.
Go for dressing daily.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course.
